Terms of use & Privacy Policy

These are the terms that apply to the Slice application and service (Slice). These terms are between us, Slice Technologies Limited (“Slice”, "Slice Limited", “us”, “we” or “our”), and you, the Slice customer using our application. You agree that by registering with Slice you’ll comply with these terms. We may change these terms at any time by updating them in our application.

Slice

You understand and acknowledge that this is the first version of Slice, which is made available on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis for the purpose of providing Slice Limited with validation on the Slice value proposition in market. This means that Slice:

  • is in its first release with initial functionality and features only (and we may add or remove products available for you via Slice at any time without prior notice);
  • may not operate properly, be in final form or fully functional;
  • may contain errors, design flaws or other problems;
  • may not be fully functional; and
  • may be suspended or stopped at any time, for any reason.
  • We do not make any warranty that Slice or any Contractual Document meets your particular requirements or is fit for purpose. All warranties under the Sale of Goods Act 1908 are excluded.

Eligibility for use

You must be 18 or over to register with Slice. Your residential and postal address must be in New Zealand and you must be a New Zealand tax resident. To use Slice services you must also confirm that:

What you need to do to use Slice

You warrant and represent that all of the information you provide on the site is complete and accurate.

We may use an electronic verification service and/or approach a credit reference agency to confirm and verify your identity, and of anyone else providing or receiving money on your behalf, and by applying you consent to this and confirm that you have the consent of any person providing or receiving money on your behalf.

We may also need to get additional information from you from time to time, including to verify your identity and for other compliance purposes, in which case until we have all of the information we need we may:

  • deactivate or delay activating your Slice account; and
  • suspend access to your Slice account.

From time to time, you will receive notifications from Slice. Any notifications received will be for information purposes only. We will not take into account your particular objectives or financial situation and will not provide financial advice or legal advice of any kind. Slice has not been designed for these purposes.
